Amar Jyoti School of Nursing was started in 2011 by Ranchi province of the Congregation with the objective of providing opportunities to young girls who are yearning for job. About 12 years ago, the sisters of this religious society entered this area of Jharkhand. At that time the place was just like a forest. As the days passed and the situation improved, people gradually started becoming aware of education, as a result, many of our young brothers and sisters started going out of their homes in search of employment. It is then that the sisters of our religious society felt a strong desire that we should give an opportunity of employment and service to those youth, so the Preriton Ki Rani Hospital was opened in the year 1997 to serve the people and provide service to the remote villages, keeping in mind the physical, mental and spiritual health of every person; not only this the 2 - year ANM training was started to train the backward tribal girls and bring them up to a dignified life in the society. Our aim is to provide necessary health facilities to the people of this region and uplift the tribal and other girls by training and skilling them to help them stand on their feet.
